It’s That Man Again.

AC - Sartorial elegance

AC with moustache

Here are a pair of so called presenters. They have no discernible talent.  They remain a duo in so far as they are conjoined by self regard and avarice. Having failed on The One Show they are currently  wrecking their careers, and those of others, on Daybreak.

On the other hand,  could be I am wrong in this. Maybe there those out there who believe that Day Break is a quite wonderful show, “Adrian and Christine are a lovely couple and Adrian is soooo funny. I’m ready for my medication now, nurse.”

  1. Deep joy! Free comment about "Daybreak". JH we need to advertise our existence on their blog.

Critical comments about "Daybreak", the wholly over-rated and overpaid Renee & Renata aka A.Chiles & C.Bleakley are welcomed.

  2. This is amusing and says much about our duo:

  3. Well done JH, are we allowed full rein to express our deep admiration of these two wonderful people, or will we be snowed under by others rushing to sing their praises? Perhaps not, lol.

I had the misfortune to watch a whole show on Monday. This I promise was the result of being snowed in and was purely for research. purposes.

The producers are really trying to copy TOS and it all looks so silly with strange guests bringing along their pythons, skunks, iguanas et al. Not great at 0730 in the morning.

AC, sorry Renee, looks half asleep and appears out of sync with the autocue at all times. Renata is all smiles , whether real or forced, and brings little succour to the mainly female audience, with whom she has no real or perceived
connection - maybe it's her £20K a week that pisses people off, especially since many of her audience will have just lost their jobs or are being turfed out of their modest homes and she is swanning of to her beau's £5 million pad. No justice in this world!

  6. Ah! The Adrian Chiles effect!

  7. Chiles absurd salary rubbishes the theory that you get what you pay for, and don't get me started on Renata!

  8. Now that Daybreak is all but finished, it would not surprise me to discover that ITV is desperately searching for something else for Chiles to do. They will want something for their money. I submit that there is nothing that Chiles can do to warrant his high salary. He has no discernible talent, and is not prepared to learn. I would not even fancy him as a continuity announcer.

As for Renata: she cannot even manage the task of Autocutie. It's Wagdom for her.

  10. Astroplums,

I can't find their Daybreak blog. Do you know how to get there?

I have put a comment on their facebook page.

  12. Jo Greenough posted this on Facebook and said it was OK for me to repeat it here.

"I don't think Daybreak can be saved in its current format anyway, can't bear to watch it, and now Adrian Chiles has actually said it's crap it is a case of when not if it will be axed. Dan Lobb is a bit of eye candy in the morning and is quite good with Kate Garraway. However, even she is more affected and fake than she used to be, possibly over compensating that her ex husband is responsible for the DESARRRSTER we see before us every morning..."

I hope that Jo will visit us here, she has the link. The more the merrier.

  13. Don't know if any of you guys listen to Radio 5 phone-ins on weekend nights, but there is a N.Irish guy, Stephen Nolan on who often bats for Renata.

However, he has excelled himself in terms of sycophancy with this defence in the Belfast Telgraph...

  14. Our Stephen certainly has a high self regard. He praises CB because she is apparently just like him. Maybe she is all those wonderful things that Stephen claims her to be; but she still has no discernible talent as a performer.

  15. Have just read Mr. Nolan's article, what a self seeking little has been. While seeming to defend Renata's reputation, he is,in fact, doing little more than promote himself. I can quite understand why he lost his show, the man seems a thoroughly unhinged ranter, lol.

  16. Does anyone know what happened to Danedweller?

  17. Jaded

No. Hope she is well. Perhaps she gave up when the new crew joined TOS. It would be nice to hear from her again.

  18. Typed on a high of hysteria, tomorrow is Padstow's first night of late shopping to kick off the Christmas season. In an attempt to brighten proceedings they have hired a snow machine to cover the North Quay. I swear to you this is the truth!!!!!

  21. I keep meaning to get up early and watch Daybreak This would be akin to wearing a hair shirt. So I suppose I shall first have to sin.

  22. JH

Sin! let's have your critical appraisal.

  23. JH, I can only assume that you are carrying out the sin of the century, or you actually watched Heartbreak from start to finish and have lost the will to live, lol. Speak to us!!!!!
